Radar Level Transmitter

JJY (JiaJia Eye) designs and manufactures 80GHz FMCW radar level transmitters for continuous, non-contact measurement of liquids, slurries, and bulk solids in storage tanks, silos, and pressurized process vessels. Our radar transmitters achieve accuracy down to +/-1 mm and output over 4-20mA, RS485/Modbus, or 4G wireless – with no contact with the measured medium.

Radar Level Transmitter Series

Why Radar Over Ultrasonic

  • Immune to vapor, dust, foam – performs where ultrasonic fails.
  • High accuracy – +/-1 mm to +/-2 mm across the range.
  • Pressurized media – rated for high pressure and temperature.
  • No moving parts – no drift from coating or buildup.

Outputs & IIoT

Every transmitter ships with 4-20mA and RS485/Modbus as standard; 4G solar radar gauges push readings to the cloud with alarm rules for remote tanks.

As a China radar level sensor manufacturer we provide OEM, ODM, and private-label services – see our About Us and Certifications.

About JiaJia Eye

JiaJia Eye (Shenzhen Jiajia Yan Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese manufacturer of ultrasonic and radar level transmitters, supplying water treatment, palm oil, rubber, and beverage plants across Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand).

Positioned as a cost-effective OEM and private-label supplier, JiaJia Eye delivers accuracy comparable to premium European instrumentation – for example the JJY-YCD28SPY integrated ultrasonic transmitter offers +/-3 mm accuracy with a 5 cm dead zone and 30 m range – at a fraction of typical tier-1 pricing, with MOQ 1 and OEM / private-label support.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a radar level transmitter work?

It sends 80 GHz FMCW microwave pulses; the time-of-flight or frequency shift of the echo gives the level. Microwaves pass through vapor, dust and temperature changes unaffected.

Radar vs ultrasonic – which is better?

Radar wins on vapor, steam, dust, pressure/vacuum and long range; ultrasonic wins on simple open tanks at lower cost. See our radar-vs-ultrasonic guide.

Can radar work in pressurized or vacuum vessels?

Yes. Radar uses electromagnetic waves and does not need air, so it works in pressurized, vacuum and blanketed tanks where ultrasonic fails.

What accuracy and range?

Up to +/-1 mm on 80 GHz FMCW; ranges beyond 30 m; narrow 3-degree beam avoids tank internals.

Outputs and OEM?

4-20 mA, RS485/Modbus, HART; OEM/ODM with MOQ 1 and FORM E.
