The JJY-YLD128D-1.5 is an 80 GHz FMCW radar level transmitter built in a full 304 stainless-steel housing with a PTFE (Teflon) antenna, measuring from 0.05 m to 40 m with ±1 mm accuracy and a narrow ±2.75° beam angle. It is supplied in two output versions — RS485 Modbus-RTU or a 2-wire 4-20 mA loop — and every parameter is set over Bluetooth from the free RadarBLE app (Android & iOS), so no PC is needed on site. The metal housing and the chemically inert PTFE antenna are rated IP68 for corrosive liquids, food-grade vessels and outdoor installations.

The whole enclosure is machined from 304 stainless steel and the radar antenna face is PTFE (Teflon) — the wetted face is chemically inert and food-safe, so the transmitter handles acids, alkalis, oils and potable water without corrosion or contamination. Metal housing also means it survives knocks, pressure washing and outdoor UV exposure that a plastic body will not.
FMCW measurement resolves the liquid surface to ±1 mm, with a ±2.75° beam that stays clear of sidewalls, ladders and internal pipework. Accuracy is held across the full 0.05–40 m range, with a 5 cm blind zone right at the antenna.
Install RadarBLE from Google Play or the App Store, pair with the transmitter and set range, output mode, filtering, damping and calibration from your phone, standing next to the tank. A Windows upper-computer tool is also free to download for bench configuration, firmware upgrades and batch setup.

Yes — the enclosure is 304 stainless steel, not plated plastic, and the antenna face is PTFE (Teflon). PTFE is chemically inert and food-safe, so acids, alkalis, solvents and oils attack neither the antenna nor the seal, and nothing leaches into potable water. The steel body takes the mechanical abuse and the UV that a polycarbonate housing will not.
It is the ranging resolution of the FMCW measurement, held across 0.05–40 m with a ±2.75° beam and a 5 cm blind zone at the antenna. In practice the reading stays within a millimetre of the true surface as long as the beam has a clear path — that is why false echo masking matters more than the number on the datasheet.

The transmitter is supplied in one of two output versions: RS485 (Modbus-RTU, 9–24 V) or a 2-wire 4-20 mA loop (24 V). Choose the one your PLC, data logger or indicator expects when you order; the protocol on the RS485 version can be customised to Modbus or a simple text protocol for OEM projects.

One unit. There is no minimum order quantity: a single evaluation unit, a 20-unit trial order and a 500-unit batch are all accepted. Quantities under 20 units ship directly from stock; 20–500 units are scheduled into production.
1–20 units: dispatched within 2 working days from stock. 20–500 units: 1–4 weeks for a scheduled production run, depending on the current schedule. Customised versions (range, thread, protocol, housing, private label) follow exactly the same schedule — customisation does not extend the lead time.
Yes to all. Measuring range, mounting thread (M20 / G1½ as standard) and communication protocol are all customisable, and the 5 m cable can be built to any length you need. One free sample is provided — the buyer covers the freight.
