Wireless Radar Level Gauges

Wireless radar level gauges solve one specific problem: the tank has no mains power and no signal cable. Remote reservoirs, boreholes, pipeline monitoring points, agricultural tanks and household water tanks all fall into this category — the level matters, but running a cable to site costs more than the instrument.

How the wireless gauge works

The radar sensor takes the measurement exactly as a wired transmitter does, then the built-in 4G module pushes the reading straight to your server, SCADA or phone app. There is no data logger, no PLC and no gateway cabinet to install on site. Battery and solar-powered versions are available, so a site with only sunlight and a 4G signal can still report level, temperature and alarm state continuously.

Typical applications

  • Household and residential water tanks — check the level from a phone instead of climbing to the tank.
  • Remote reservoirs and boreholes — no power, no cable, still monitored.
  • Pipeline and small pipe networks — spot a drop in level before it becomes a call-out.
  • Agricultural and irrigation tanks — low-refill alarms over the season.

Battery and solar versions

Where a solar panel can be mounted, the solar version runs indefinitely without a battery change. Where the tank is indoors or shaded, the battery version is sized for long unattended service. In both cases the reporting interval is configurable: report every few minutes during commissioning, then drop to a few times a day to stretch the battery.

What you receive

Live level on phone and PC, historical curves, and configurable high / low alarms. Readings can be pushed to your own platform by API, so the gauge becomes a data source in the system you already run rather than a separate app to check.
