Three problems ultrasonic level meters usually fail on — solved.
Conventional ultrasonic sensors start measuring around 20 cm from the face. 5 cm means small tanks, day tanks and dosing tanks can be filled right to the top with no dead band.
It holds its echo through mist, steam and dust. Automatic gain control compensates for signal decay, so readings stay stable in sewage wet wells and outdoor installations instead of jumping.
±3 mm over RS-485 (0.1% FS on the 4–20 mA loop). Accurate enough for batching, blending and dosing where the level number is trusted by the process.

The blind zone is the shortest distance from the transducer face that cannot be measured. At 5 cm — instead of the usual ~20 cm — you can measure much closer to the tank top, which is what makes small tanks, day tanks and dosing systems usable to full capacity.
